Spring message to families!

Hello Salmon Arm West families,

I wanted to personally wish everyone a safe and wonderful spring break. To those travelling, either near or far, we wish you safe travels and look forward to your children sharing their stories with us when you return! To those staying close to home, whether you are doing yard cleanup, renovating or doing small projects, going to the movies, taking walks in this spring feeling weather, or are simply taking some extra downtime for your family, I wish you a peaceful break where we can focus on extra time with our littles 🙂

The Salmon Arm Recreation Center has asked us to share the programs they are offering during the break. If it works for your family, I encourage you to try one of their programs (drop-in sports, public skating, etc) – they lots to offer and are a wonderful way to create memories during the break. A note as well that students have come home with Salmon Arm West spiritwear forms. Staff have encouraged students to help around the house with chores, or ask a neighbor if they would like help with yard work, so they can perhaps earn some chore money to contribute to the spiritwear!
