October 15-19

An important notice regarding walking field trip permission forms!

Wow! What beautiful fall weather we are having! Mornings are cool, so please make sure everyone arrives wearing jackets. Classes are wanting to spend time learning outdoors right now to take advantage of the great weather. In order to go for walks around the neighbourhood to get to different areas for learning (e.g. the creek) we must have the walking field trip permission form signed. If you haven’t already done so, please go to Parent Connect and provide permission for this. We cannot go on these excellent learning walks without permission and we don’t want our kids to miss out.

Coming up this week…

Tuesday Oct 16 we will have a short assembly in the morning where members of the District Me to We committee will talk about Toonie Tuesday.  We will be collecting any donations for Me To WE on Tuesday Oct 23.

Wednesday Oct 17: Theatre presentation at 8:40 as part of the District Performing Arts program.

We will also be practicing our first required Earthquake drill of this school year in the afternoon.

Friday Oct 19 is the provincial pro D day. No school for students.  Once again, we are super excited about the workshops we will be going to. Please ask us about what we are learning- we would love to share what we learned with you!
