Only two more weeks of school! Things have been busy here at SAW, with many field trips and school events happening. We are super excited to have planted our first garden! Thanks to the hard work of PAC parents, we have four beautiful raised bed gardens. Mr. Jakobsen’s class planted the gardens and we are excited to wait for the harvest in the fall. Thank you to the parents who built these beautiful beds!!
This week at SAW:
June 19: Grade 5 waterslide day
June 20: Stop the Summer Slide! Join us for an exciting hour of math games from 6-7 pm. Please call the school to pre-register so we can make your own kit of cards and dice for you to take home. You will learn games that you can play with your child over the summer to keep those math skills sharp!
June 21: National Aboriginal Day. Our school will be heading out to the celebrations at Pierre’s Point for the morning, then returning to the school for more events in the afternoon.
June 22: Div 3 and 4 are heading out to Kingfisher to release the salmon we have raised this year.
Fun day is scheduled for June 25. Notices have gone home for pizza lunch orders for that day.
Enjoy the sunny weather!
